In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.
Ziva Ovits, aged 77, died from her wounds after trying to run into the bomb shelter in her home in Moshav Ami’oz on the October 7th Hamas rockets. Ziva left behind a husband, 3 children, and 11 grandkids. Ziva used to make the best Matbocha dip in all of the Moshav, which she made from a whole box of tomatoes from the Moshav she peeled every Friday. Everyone wanted to get the recipe from Ziva’s kitchen. Sadly, Ziva couldn’t make her dream of visiting Dubai with her family. Her grandkids added and said “Our grandmother always worried about us, about our future, taught us that humanity always comes first, Thank you our beloved for your endless love and everything you have given us.”, May her memory last forever.
