In Memoriam of:

Yonatan Hatzor

Age: 22

From: Kibbutz Givat Brenner

In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.

Sergeant Major Yonatan Hatzor, age 22 from Katzir, served in the elite Shaldag unit. He fell in battle in northern Gaza.
"Wherever you went, you left a mark, quietly. I was and still am proud to be your older brother," said his brother Eyal.
"You loved running in the kibbutz, you were a perfectionist in everything, painting, sculpting, karate. The Shaldag unit suited you very well," his father Avner eulogized him. "With all your talent, you were never arrogant, showing self-confidence and quiet, without arrogance. You are the diamond, a hard but transparent crystal - you show what Zionism is without arrogance."
His fellow soldiers eulogized him: "This is not a farewell, you will stay with us. You will forever be one of 12"
