In Memoriam of:
Yochai Gur Hershberg
Age: 52
From: Philip Farms
In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.
Lieutenant Colonel Yochai Gur Hershberg, 52, from Philip Farms, was a commander of the Missing Persons Locating Unit in the Fire Brigade Division 98. He was killed in a military traffic accident in the south of Israel. Besides his family, he left behind the famous "Philip Farm" founded by his father. "He continued his father's honorable path, guarded the lands, engaged in tourism and agriculture. He was a happy man, the smile never left his face. He always helped anyone who got stuck in the field - travelers or farmers. There was endless giving in him. With all the difficulties of the authorities he fought so that the farm would continue to exist. He often served in reserve duty regardless of the war. He had many Bedouin friends, he was a symbol of coexistence."
