In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.

Lieutenant Colonel Yitzhak Bazooka Shvili, z"l, of Be'er Sheva, is the Commander of the Regev Shalom police station in the Southern Region. On October 7th, he went to rescue the commander of the Rahat station and was killed during the rescue.

He was a resident of Meitar, survived by his parents, wife, three children, and a brother.

He is quoted as saying: "I had the first privilege to establish a police station, which will serve as a living center for law enforcement and an address for citizens."
