Yehudit Weiss, z"l, a mother of five, was abducted from Kibbutz Be’eri on October 7th. Her husband, Shmulik Weiss, was found murdered in the safe room of their home. Her body was found near the Shifa hospital in Gaza by the IDF troops clearing the area.

Yehudit, a pensioner who worked with kindergarten kids and in the kibbutz dining room, was being treated with radiation for breast cancer when she was kidnapped.

She is described as a loving full-time grandmother who enjoyed reading books, travelling with friends, baking cheesecakes and watching plays with her five grandchildren.
