In Memoriam of:

Yehonatan Yitzchak Samo

Age: 21

From: Carmei Tzur

In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.

Staff Sergeant Yehonatan Yitzchak Samo, z"l, served as a soldier in the Paratroopers Brigade from Carmei Tzur. He died several days after he was badly wounded in battle with Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip. In a last heroic act, he donated his organs saving six lives.
His heart was transplanted to a 46-year-old man; one of his kidneys to a 10-year-old boy;
his second kidney to a 50-year-old man;
his lungs to a 36-year-old man;
his liver to a 51-year-old man;
a segment of his liver to an 8-month-old baby girl.
