In Memoriam of:
In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.
Sgt. Yehonatan Maimon, z"l, 20, served as a soldier in the Nahal Brigade’s reconnaissance unit, from Ofakim. Yehonatan fell during fighting in the northern Gaza Strip.
Yehonatan was born in a Haredi household and led the robotics group of the "First" group and the Technion. There he met his girlfrien: "His smile was magnetic, he was the best friend and the most amazing partner." His sister paid tribute: "You are a hero, a supreme saint. I've always admired you" "Before his draft, he didn't just want combat, he wanted special forces - and that's where he ended up. It was always important for him to be at the top - to guard and protect, and again, not to give up."
