In Memoriam of:

Yarin Moshe Ephraim

Age: 24

From: Petach Tikva

In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.

Yarin Moshe Ephraim, z"l, from Petach Tikva, was murdered at the Nova nature party, where he was working as a bar manager.

Yarin, in the last minutes when he was escaping from the terrorists' gunfire, saved people. While they were escaping, one of the girls fell, Yarin picked her up again and ran with her, put her into one of the vehicles and told her to hide and that's how she was saved.

Remembrances of Yarin Moshe Ephraim

A life beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.

Here we celebrate the memories, the joys, and the life of Yarin Moshe Ephraim.

I mourn the loss of your life and your light. I picked your name out of a basket for a special memorial service for the Oct. 7 hostages and victims on the evening of October 6 in Northern Virginia. I learned even while you were in mortal danger you had the courage to save a young woman. It is my honor to say Kaddish for you and light a Jahrzeit candle each October 7 which is my birthday.

In Windsor Ontario Canada at our local Congregation Beth El, at the one yr reminder of October 7th, a memorial candle was placed on each chair. There was a name attached to someone who was lost on that day. The name attached to my candle was Yarin’s. I’ve lit the candle thinking of him. May his memory be a blessing 💔
