Yair z'l was a specialist in pediatrics at the Schneider Pediatric Center, and was killed during his duty as a medical officer of the 5377th surgical company of the 401st brigade. He was a third generation of doctors his father, Capt. (resp.) Dov Zaloff, a family doctor who served in the reserves in the 401st brigade. Yair was an extraordinary person, an outstanding doctor and a groundbreaking researcher. An exemplary husband, family member and friend,' said Prof. Shwierman, director of the 2nd Children's Department at Schneider Hospital in Petah Tikva.
