Vitali Kersi

The late Maj. Gen. Vitali Kersik, a police officer in the Israel Police (forensic investigator), fell in battle when he was fighting terrorists who came to massacre the Nova party participants by Kibbutz Re'im. A 38-year-old resident of Ashkelon, Benoflu left behind his parents, wife, children and brothers. Kersik's commander, Oren Talias paid tribute to him and wrote: "Vitali Karsik is a hero! My lieutenant-my command. Dear Friend. A unique person. Family Guy. An exemplary police officer. Your absence is felt at every moment. His soul should be bundled in the bundle of life" His friend Guy Feldman wrote: "Dear friend, may God revenge your blood, Vitali Karsik. For years we served together in the heart of Tel Aviv, recently you moved to Ayalon for forensic investigation. And you were killed at a nature party where you worked for security. I'm really crying. I loved you very much. You were a special person. A man of the people."
