In Memoriam of:

Uri Luker

Age: 19

In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.

Uri z"l served as a fighter in the 51st Battalion, Golani Brigade. Uri comes from a family of fighters from elite combat units. He didn't think he would draft to Golani, but when he heard a lecture by the bereaved father Baruch ben Yigal about his son Amit, he changed his mind and knew it was the place for him. Uri fell, along with the fighters with him, near the perimeter fence while trying to prevent armed terrorists from breaking into Israel. He left behind his parents, Orit and Eyal, a twin brother, Tamir, a paratrooper fighter, a brother three years younger than him, Elad, and countless friends. "Uri's younger brother, Elad, adds: "Uri was a role model for me. I was his number 1 fan and would do anything to be like him. I was proud of everything he did. We would watch Maccabi Haifa together, play soccer and Xbox together..."
