Uri Luker

Uri z"l served as a fighter in the 51st Battalion, Golani Brigade. Uri comes from a family of fighters from elite combat units. He didn't think he would draft to Golani, but when he heard a lecture by the bereaved father Baruch ben Yigal about his son Amit, he changed his mind and knew it was the place for him. Uri fell, along with the fighters with him, near the perimeter fence while trying to prevent armed terrorists from breaking into Israel. He left behind his parents, Orit and Eyal, a twin brother, Tamir, a paratrooper fighter, a brother three years younger than him, Elad, and countless friends.
