Tomer Keren
Age: 20
From: Haifa
In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.
Sgt. Tomer Keren, z"l, 20, of Haifa - 51st Battalion, Golani Infantry Brigade. Fell in combat in northern Israel. Tomer was a prominent person both in the Scout youth movement and outside of it, he was always surrounded by friends and smiles and took care of everyone around him. Tomer finished his high school studies at the 5th Municipal School in Haifa, and was appreciated and loved by his friends and the school staff. Hagit Levy, the principal of the school, paid tribute to him: "Tomer was a person full of joy in life, always surrounded by friends and active in Scouting in the Scout tribe. He took advantage of every moment of his experiences in high school and dreamed of reaching Golani. When the war broke out, he was still before enlistment and was looking for ways to contribute on his own. In November 2023 He enlisted and last July he finished his training as a fighter in Golani. The whole school is mourning his fall."
