In Memoriam of:

Sivan Simcha Asraf

Age: 20

From: Ashkelon

In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.

Corporal Sivan Simcha Asraf, z"l, from Ashkelon, was killed by the terrorists at the Nahal Oz base two weeks prior to her planned discharge from the IDF.

She served in the Telecommunications Corps.

Her mother wrote in the obituary:

"Sivan, our beautiful love, on that black Saturday, they took our heart, picked the most beautiful flower in the garden, that loved life. You were always happy and energetic, loved to go out and spend time, I would have loved to hear you laugh because you had a rolling and shy laugh, there is not a single time that I remember that I did not see a smile on your face, I would have enjoyed looking at you so much. Even when we have big age gaps (your aunt) you would know a lot about me and I about you sometimes even without telling I would understand you and me. A kind-hearted girl who wanted everyone to be well and you even knew how to forgive everything very quickly because you don't know how to hold a grudge in your heart and hate, you had a strong desire to succeed and seek your vocation in life after the army, less flourished in Israel, you didn't give up on yourself for a single moment, you were Full of ambitions and did not stop for one moment to think about what you would do after the army. Sivan, the love of our lives, watch over us from above, give us strength down here to live a sane life without you. Dedicating to you the song that always reminded me of you every time I would hear it. "Sivan"/ Yigal Bashan. I love you to the depths of my soul💔"
