In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.
Shmuel (Shmulik) Weiss, z"l, died fighting back the terrorists who entered his home in Kibbutz Be'eri. His wife, Yehudit (recently diagnosed with cancer) was kidnapped to Gaza, where she wasn't given treatment and was eventually found dead near the Shifa hospital compound.
Four of the couple's five children and a number of grandchildren also live in the kibbutz.
According to his friends, Shmulik Weiss is a man of a rare breed, a man of giving, love of country and others.
