Sharif Suad

Sharif Suad, z"l, 35, of the Bedouin town of Sallama near Karmiel, an Israeli civilian contracted by the IDF, was killed in a Hezbollah anti-tank missile attack on the Mount Dov area on the Lebanese border. He was working with the IDF on a land barrier along the frontier when the truck he was driving took a direct hit during an anti-tank missile barrage and he was killed instantly. In an operation that took several hours to complete, Suad's body was removed from the scene by IDF forces while under fire from Hezbollah in Lebanon. Sharif Suad is survived by his wife and two children as well as his parents and six siblings.
