In Memoriam of:

Shahaf Bergstein

Age: 33

From: Kibbutz Cfar Azza

In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.

Shahaf, a young soul from Kfar Azza, lived his life with vibrant energy. On that Simchat Torah evening, he danced with joy, his nephews perched high on his shoulders, little knowing it would be their last dance. The cruel dawn of the next day cruelly snatched him away, even as he stood ready, donned in his military uniform, to serve. Shahaf volunteered for Kibbutz Cfar Azza first response unit and died defending the kibbutz residents.
Remembered in hearts with profound love and an ache that never fades, Shahaf was more than a soldier; he was the embodiment of bravery, a dear friend, and a soul whose smile lit up every room. Beloved by all who knew him, Shahaf’s life, marked by valor in the Orev HaNahal company, becomes a story of a smile that will linger in memories, long after his untimely departure.
Shaaf volunteered in the running and walking group in Be'er Sheva and was very loved by the group.
