In Memoriam of:

Reuven Heinik

Age: 56

From: Ashkelon

In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.

Reuven Heinik, z"l, from Ashkelon, was murdered two days after the terrorist infiltation by one of the many terrorists who stayed behind and hid to murder more unsuspecting civilians.

Kissufim Farm was the life's work of Reuven, a dairy farmer at heart and director of a mythological dairy farm in the kibbutz. On Monday, October 9th, Reuven could no longer sit at home and decided to go to the barn and feed the cows. He did not listen to the requests of his friends and family members who begged him not to travel. But Reuven insisted, "we must feed the cows". A murderous terrorist who was lurking in the milking parlor shot him to death at close range. Reuven Heinik was 56 years old, married to Dorit, father of 3 daughters, Adi, Neta and Yuval.
