In Memoriam of:

Or Mizrahi

Age: 21

From: Petach Tikva

In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.

Sergeant Or Mizrahi, z"l, from Petach Tikva, was the first soldier to fall in the battle defending his army base against 400 terrorists.

Or's girlfriend recalls:

"...on Friday we had a conversation and he said he was hungry and there was no food at the base. He told me that his father and sister were planning to come to him and asked if I was too and I said yes. I promised to make him the meatballs he likes and later I took a picture of the meatballs for him and he was enthusiastic.

On Saturday morning this was the conversation. The last video call in which he told me there were missiles showed me the sky and there were literally dozens of missiles there. He showed me that he was hiding behind a wall and then he said he had to go help because it was his duty as a soldier In the world, but I have to help the citizens. We were still on a video call when suddenly he took a picture of half of his body and told me, Osi, I'm dead, and that's how the conversation with him was cut off.

He loved and adored his father and his sister Stav. Every evening he made sure to greet his father with "Good night, I love you." He is the best and most understanding person I've ever met. He told me that I would be the mother of his children and even planned for us to fly abroad for a trip after the army to propose to me."
