Omri Yosef David, z"l, from Karmiel served as a deputy company commander in the Negev Brigade’s 9217 Battalion. Omri fell in battle in the Gaza Strip.
Omri was supposed to move into a new apartment the previous day with his partner Noam Sharam. The two had been in a relationship for seven and a half years, and were in no rush to get married. "We didn't get married, we took our time, we thought that our whole life was ahead of us. We didn't rush and we enjoyed the present and dreaming about the future so much," she said.
