Sergeant Major (res.) Ofir Mordechai Yaron, z"l, from Kibbutz Magen, was a member of the kibbutz' civilian defense standby squad and died defending Magen from the invading terrorists.
Ofir served his reserve duty in the Border Proteciton Corps.
Ophir is survived by his wife, 2 stunning daughters, father, brothers and sisters, nephews, uncles, and cousins.
