Major Ofer Yosef Ran, z"l, was a team commander in the Duvdevan special forces unit. Born and raised in the hills of Itamar, Ofer was a recipient of numerous commendations and the grandson of the pioneering settlers of Samaria, Shrona and Avri Ran.
