Noi Maudi, 29, was murdered by Hamas terrorists at the Psyduck music festival on October 7 near Kibbutz Nirim. He was killed with his brother in law, Moti Elkabetz, and 17 year old nephew, Matan Rosenberg.
Members of a St. Paul school community are mourning the loss of a former teacher who taught at the Talmud Torah school in St. Paul. He lived in Minnesota for six years before returning to Israel, where he grew up.
Noecker was the school's board president when Maudi taught.
She says he had a special way about him, connecting with the kids beyond the classroom.
"My son was really into the video game, Spyro, and Noi knew the exact way to get past the bad guy at this one particular level, so my son came home so excited to try that particular technique because Noi had suggested it," Noecker said.
