In Memoriam of:

Netanel (Nati) Harush

Age: 34

From: Jerusalem

In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.

Master Sgt. (res.) Netanel (Nati) Harush, z"l, 34, served as a soldier in the Givati Brigade’s logistics unit, from Jerusalem. Nati fell during an operational activity in the northern Gaza Strip.
Col. Guy Biton, former commander of the Givati Ranger Battalion: "Natanel, you reported to the reserves with great commitment. Your smile always lit up your face". The Mayor of Jerusalem, Moshe Leon: "We salute your path as a valuable and determined warrior". Minister Amichai Eliyahu: "Evil made for us a Black Sabbath, but people like you are being discovered - that have in them power"
His brother, Rav Avi Harosh, gave a tearful eulogy: "I remember when I was a teenager and my mother was after ten births. The doctor told her that it was impossible to have more children. And then, unnaturally twins came to our family. Our mother decided to call the names after Daniel and Natanel. What a gift, what pleasantness, gentleness, caring, dedication, what a talent. God gave God took away may God's name be blessed. A mother who buries a son is not life. An older brother who says Kaddish on the youngest of the group is not life. Nati teaches us another encounter with life, another layer in the consciousness of life. Nati teaches us what life is like for a nation that desires life, that cannot allow cruel and evil people to stand on our border. They wanted to return us to the days of the wandering Jew who had no shield. bring back that terrible fear. Nati, you are fighting for the life of the nation, to restore the honor of this nation and remove the disgrace of what happened at Simchat Torah. From a private person you became a person who is full of eternal life. The pulse that beats in you is that of the entire nation. You are part of the nation's uprising. Nati, I'm sorry I didn't appreciate you enough, how great you are. I promise you that I will try to be good, to be worthy of a person like you.'
