Nael Fwarsy

Maj. (res.) Nael Fwarsy, z"l, 43, of Maghar – Company Commander, 299th (Sword) Battalion, 300th (Baram) Regional Brigade. Fell in combat in northern Israel. Nael was the salt of the earth, a lover of the country, a man of the beautiful Land of Israel, a brave warrior and a man for the glory of the State of Israel and the Druze community. Nael got married two years ago and left behind a wife and a five-month-old baby. His brother, Vail, said: "We are a fighting family. My brother always wanted to join the reserves, he volunteered first. He had a strong desire since October 7. He was drafted into the reserves and was injured about six months ago by an anti-tank missile in his sector. He recovered and quickly returned to the reserve. My mother always worried about him and feared the worst would happen to him. She's not digesting now, neither are we."
