In Memoriam of:
Moriah Reviv
Age: 22
From: Kiryat Motzkin
In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.
Moriah z"l studied at the Ort Motzkin school and only about two months previously returned from a trip to South America, a trip in which she also participated in various parties. Moriya's mother, Sima Raviv, is a well-known figure in the city and the owner of a boutique for wedding dresses, and she tearfully recounts:
"She was a queen, she wanted to dance and have fun and went to a party with her friends from the Krayot. She spent time at parties when she was on a trip to South America, but it was from the party in Israel that she did not return."
In a voice choked with tears, Sima says: "Moria was a special girl, always surrounded by friends, full of joy. On 8/10 she was supposed to celebrate her 23rd birthday. I got her as a gift until she turned 23."
Moriya grew up in the Haifa area, and in high school she was an active youth guide for school trips as well as a volunteer firefighter. During her mandatory military service, Moriya served as a drone instructor in the Intelligence Collection Corps, and after her release she moved to Eilat for more than a year to work and save up money for her travels.
She was buried outside Haifa on October 10. She is survived by her parents, Sima and Meir, and her younger siblings Roie and Shira.
