In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.
Meir Abergel z"l was the coordinator of investigations at the Sderot police station. A rare personality. A man a level above, a professional, he was always available and answered, no matter when, and worked with all his heart and soul, but above all he was fair and honest. As soon as he heard that there was a riot in Sderot, he was the first to go to Sderot station, even though he hadnt been called up. Because Meir never waited to be called, he always knew when he was needed. He was murdered at the entrance of the Sderot police station.
