In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.
Liz, z"l, was murdered in Kibbutz Holit with her husband Meir in a terrorist attack in which 11 kibbutz members and 2 foreign workers were murdered.
A brave mother hid her seven-year-old daughter in a closet while the terrorists robbed the kibbutz and murdered everyone. Liz Alharr the 14th put her daughter in the hiding place and blocked the door with her body when she was dying from gunshot wounds, and thus the girl was saved. The terrorists did not know that there was a girl in the closet.
