In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.

Sgt. 1st Class Liav Aloush, z"l, 21, of Gedera served in Unit 217 (Duvdevan), Commando Brigade. Liav fell in combat in the southern Gaza Strip.

Dear Family Aloush
We were heartbroken to hear the passing of Liav.
The strength of this young warrior is an inspiration to all us Jews in the Diaspora.
We grieve and mourn this loss and remember his courage and admiration for our most cherished state
May all your wonderful memories give you strength to carry on in these most difficult times.
Liav's name will be remembered forever in a memorial sculpture ,on a stone, in our shul's garden, in vancouver BC,at Temple Sholom.
