Kinneret Gat, z"l, was first kidnapped and then murdered in Kibbutz Be'eri. Family members had to find out about her death from a Sky News video of here being led away by Hamas terrorists and then laying on the ground dead.
Several other family members were kidnapped to Gaza, with two escaping when an IDF tank distracted the terrorists and one brought home nearly two months later as part of the hostage for terrorist prisoners exchange deal.
