In Memoriam of:

Kfir Itzhak Franco

Age: 22

From: Jerusalem

In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.

Cpt. Kfir Itzhak Franco, 22, from Jerusalem, a platoon commander in the 401st Brigade’s 52nd Battalion.
Itzhak's fiancce, Naama, eulogized him - "You proposed to me in front of the walls of Jerusalem's Old City - you were like a wall, stability and an anchor for me. How lucky we were before the war, we were so happy. You said that this surprise is the last surprise, because you can't keep secrets from me, and now you prepared a surprise for me, a final surprise."
Kfir was a member of a family of new immigrants from France. "My son fell for the sanctification of Hashem, fell for the defense of the homeland and will be a hero forever. Kfir willingly went to the defense and enlisted in the common mission for all of us, I only know one thing he wanted me to say - 'Am Yisrael Hai'," his father eulogized. "I love you, I expected you to come, open the door and say 'Hey, dad, what's up?'. It didn't happen and it won't happen."
"What a black and deep hole fell into me. Last week I wrote you a birthday greeting and now I'm writing you an obituary," said his sister Tair. "You were always first place with all of us, your smile always said everything. What a brother you were, I always felt comfortable coming and talking, and you never disappointed."
