In Memoriam of:

Keshet Zohar

Age: 20

In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.

Yaniv, z"l, 54 years old at the time of his death, was a devoted and loving father, salt of the earth, photographer for "Israel Hayom" and Channel 13. Yasmin, z"l, 49 years old at the time of his death, a passionate mother, who just recently completed her master's degree with honors and was the right hand of the academic staff at Sapir College. Yasmin was the daughter of a family of farmers, and unfortunately her father Chaim z"l was also murdered by Hamas terrorists in an attack on Nahal Oz. Keshet, z"l, their eldest daughter, 20 years old at the time of her death, taught at the "Henry Ronson" school for 12th grade boys with special needs. She was smart, opinionated, sensitive and kind-hearted. Techelet, z"l, 18 at the time of here death, started last September a year of service and volunteered at Ravadi boarding school for the treatment of youth with mental challenges. Friends say that the members of the Zohar family were always smiling, a close-knit family that loved the land and Nahal Oz, knew how to see and accept those who are different.
