Itai z'l was a member of the General Security Service, fell during reserve service in the Maglan Unit in a battle with terrorists. Colonel Itai Shlomo Moreno is the son of the son of Moshe and Tamar and the nephew of the late Emanuel Moreno (lieutenant colonel, of Sayeret Matcal), who fell in the Second Lebanon War.
