In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.

Ilan z"l was the security coordinator of the Nahal Oz Kibbutz and was killed while serving as a member of the first response unit while defending the kibbutz and its inhabitants. Ilan left behind a wife and three daughters.

In one of the events at our community in Cleveland (yom Hazikaron) I was given a card with the picture of Ilan Fiorentino z"l since then I've been lighting Shabbat Candles with his picture next to them praying for his soul and thinking about his wife and daughters. This Shabbat my brother visited from Israel and saw that my nephew lights a candle for Ilan, it was so beautiful to know that we both light in his memory. May his memory be a blessing.
