In Memoriam of:

Hillel Shmuel Saadon

Age: 21

In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.

A soldier in the Nahal patrol. Hillel's adoptive mother from the kibbutz, Ayelet Katz, wrote about him: "Hillel Saadon came to us in Barkai in the middle of the army, due to being a lone soldier... He served in the Nahal Field Marshal, an elite combative unit, which he reached thanks to being a serious, talented, hard-working and goal-oriented person. He really enjoyed being with us and spoke of the place as home. Last Passover I bought him wood carving tools. He loved and worked with wood. Loved horses very much, understood how to train dogs and was connected to the earth"
