In Memoriam of:
In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.
Hadar Prince, 21 of Rehovot, was murdered by Hamas terrorists at the Supernova music festival on Saturday.
In the initial hours of the massacre by Hamas that caught Israel by surprise on October 7, terrorists from the Gaza Strip brutally killed at least 260 fleeing partygoers and abducted a number of others, possibly in the dozens.
Prince was buried in her hometown on Tuesday after she was found dead following days of searches. While the family was still hunting for her, her mother, Dana, told a local news outlet that they had heard from Hadar early Saturday morning, and that she was hiding in a garbage dump.
Dana said that Hadar called them and “we could hear the panic and fear in her voice, and we couldn’t do anything.” Her father tried to drive down and find her, but was stopped from getting closer to the scene by authorities.
Labor MK Efrat Rayten, who attended the funeral, wrote on X that “there are no words of comfort possible, and I am trying to take on myself some of the horrible pain of the family and friends. The screams of her mother, Dana, will always be etched into my heart. We must look the pain and grief in the eyes.”
