In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.
Gila Peled, z"l, was murdered in her Kibbutz Kfar Aza home together with her husband, Yizhar, and their son, Daniel.
Gila was a well-known and well-liked figure, the community nurse from the southern district of Klalit, she ran the day hospitalization service at the Ashkelon Consulting Medical Center.
Sohia Vokhin wrote in Gila's obituary: "Our big sister, our angel - Gila. How much appreciation and love, there is no one in the area that you didn't take care of with great love. The most amazing mother to Yoni, Reut, the late Daniel and Rutem, the most amazing wife to the late Yizhar Peled, and the most amazing grandmother to Lihav Vegali and of course the eldest daughter of Jerry Z. To and Esther, may they be proud of you."
