In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.

Sergeant First Class (res.) Gavriel Bloom, 27, from Beit Shemesh, son of Jennifer and David, was a 36th Division engineering soldier. He was killed in an explosion near a strategic tunnel in the central Gaza Strip. The explosion, caused by a sudden detonation of explosive material. He was buried at Har Herzl, and is survived by his parents and five siblings.
