In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.
Gaddif z"l served in the "Matpa" unit that manages the coordination of enforcement operations and was among the first jeeps that entered Be'eri on 7.10. He was murdered along with 6 other teammates when their jeep was hit by an RPG.
Gaddif immigrated from Ethiopia to Israel with his family when he was 12 years old, attended the "Oz Shalom" preparatory school, mechina, in Kiryat Malachi, served in the elite Duvdevan unit and had recently joined the police force.
On October 6, Simchat Torah, Gadif stayed with his wife, Tali, and their little daughter, Eliya, not yet a year old, at his parents' house in Kiryat Gat, for the holiday. After being called up, he was sent with his friends to help in Kibbutz Be'eri where he fell.
