Master Sgt. (res.) Eyal Meir Berkowitz, z"l, 28, of Jerusalem served in Battalion 699, 551st (Hetzei Ha-Esh/Arrows of Fire) Paratroopers Brigade. Eyal fell in combat in the northern Gaza Strip.
