Elhanan Meir Clemenzon

Elhanan z'l was an officer at the headquarters of the Judea and Samaria Division, the son of Yochi and Rabbi Bnei Clemenzon (the president of the Otniel Yeshiva) from Otniel. Upon hearing about the fighting in the south, Elhanan, along with his brother Menachem, and his nephew, Itiel, immedietly left on their own to Kibbutz Beiri.  Finding an abandoned armored car, they made trips back and forth into the kibbutz, while terrorists were going house to house, and personally rescued approximately 100 kibbutz members.  Elhanan entered a home where a terrorist was waiting and was critically shot.  He died as a hero and his memory should be a blessing.  Elchanan was the nephew of Michi Marak and the cousin of Orit Marak Etinger, who were also murdered in acts of terror.
