In Memoriam of:

David (Dudi) Digmi

Age: 43

From: Rishon L'Tzion

In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.

Master Sgt. (res.) David (Dudi) Digmi, z"l, 43, served as a paramedic in the Gaza Division, from Rishon Lezion. He fell while serving in miluim in the Gaza Strip.

He worked as a physician's assistant at Wolfson for the past four years, and half a year ago he retrained to become an academic nurse. He was a father of two.

״He was probably the most beautiful man with the most beautiful smile - according to his friends and family, his many acquaintances and all the people who write on his Facebook wall.״

He was in the reserves for a month, served as a paramedic, treated and saved the lives of many soldiers. On the way back from Gaza for days off, his car overturned and he was killed.

Dudi was an example and model of care and compassion for patients at the same time as uncompromising professionalism. This is evident in the countless letters of thanks and appreciation he received from patients and their families. He had the 'spark', joy and compassion that I would wish for any doctor, certainly for the surgeons among us," says Dr. Kemer with great pain.
"My uncle Degami was a man with a big and sensitive heart. An exemplary medical man, a true professional and above all a friend. I and the entire emergency department mourn his passing and miss him very much," adds Regina, his close friend from the emergency department.
