In Memoriam of:

Danny Alosh

Age: 52

From: Omer

In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.

Danny Alosh, z"l, from Omer, was shot by IDF friendly fire after being misidentified for a terrorist. He and his partner were electricians called in to fix a power disruption.

He is survived by wife and three children.

Despite the dangers due to the fighting in the Gaza Envelope, Alosh came to repair a voltage infrastructure in the Kerem Shalom area and was accidentally killed by friendly fire.

His brother, Shay Alosh, wrote in the obituary: "I can't believe I'm writing this, with great sadness today I'm saying goodbye to the person most dear to me, my dear brother Danny, who I had as a father, a friend and a brother. I'm writing this down to you and my whole body is shaking My heart is broken, Danny, my big brother, you were my mentor in life, every problem I had, you knew how to take care of it, you loved my son as if he were your grandson, there was a connection between you that cannot be explained in words. The heart cannot contain the great loss, I love you my beloved brother, I have a deep hole in my heart, may your memory be blessed."
