In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.
Daniel Peled, z"l, from Be'er Sheva, was murdered together with his parents, Yizhar and Gila, in their Kibbutz Kfar Aza home.
Daniel's brother recalled speaking with him and the parents as they were in the boomb shelter room within the house: "They were talking on the cell phone and suddenly Daniel shouts, 'They are coming in.'" Daniel's younger brother put the phone on silent and heard everything live. He realized that something bad had happened at the parents' house. The connection was broken, but they still held on to hope, even though the chances of that were slim.
Daniel worked as a paramedic and dreamed about studying medicine.
