In Memoriam of:

Carmel Gat

Age: 40

From: Tel Aviv

In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.

Carmel Gat, 40, of Tel Aviv, an occupational therapist, was visiting with her parents in Kibbutz Be’eri when the terrorist attack began on October 7 and she was captured and abducted by the Hamas terrorists to the Gaza Strip. She was held captive for over 300 days before being brutally murdered just a few days ago. On Saturday, August 31, 2024, a combined IDF-ISA force located her body and returned it to Israel. Other captives who were released spoke fondly of Carmel who acted as a force of strength during their captivity.
