Boaz z"l served as a defense systems technician in the northern division. Boaz's sister paid tribute to him with heartbreaking words. "You were my best friend, the one I loved and adored and waited to see every week. My heart is empty and painful. I miss you to the core and can't believe you won't come back," she wrote. She added that he was a modest and humble person - even when it was about him. "When you got an exemplary distinction you didn't bother to tell us, and you just brought home the certificate. They don't make people like you anymore." Boaz was the third son of Gil and Atara Yogev, from the settlement of Neria in Binyamin.
