Ben Shimoni

Ben Shimoni z"l was murdered at the Nova music festival near Kibbutz Re'im. Ben had already managed to escape from the party and reached Be'er Sheva, along with four other people he did not know. He called his brother, Avinoam: "He said there was a mess, that he was in Be'er Sheva for a second and then he turned around to save more," "I asked him not to do that, to go to our mother's house in Ashkelon, pick her up, and have them drive to me in the north. But he had a friend at the party and he decided to go back" and that's where he found his death. His brother continued to say "He loved life. Loved cars, traveling and parties. Always puts himself last and wants to help, so it's not surprising that the last action he did in his life was trying to rescue his friends from hell.''
