In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.
Avshalom (Abshel) Haran, z"l, was murdered in his home in Kibbutz Be'eri. Seven of his family members were taken hostage to Gaza (with six returned home in an exchange for Palestinian prisoners and one still in captivity).
Abshel served until a few years ago as CEO of the kibbutzim farms.
He was one of a kind, smart, professional and talented, who led the kibbutz in general and Bari's printing house in particular, to incredible financial achievements. A charismatic, conquering man, a family man and a great friend.
