In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.
Aviya Genot, from Kfar Saba and later Scopus, was murdered at the Nova nature party.
She is survived by her parents, two sisters and a brother.
Her father eulogized her: "Last week in the morning, on Shabbat, while we were praying, dancing with the Torah, evil came in human form and hurt you. I remember how much you loved Grandma Panina. She went through the Holocaust in the most difficult camps, what respect you gave her, and how important she was to you We thought that the horrors of the Holocaust were behind us, and the reality struck us and the people of Israel only because we are Jews, and Father promises that the people of Israel will avenge you and the vengeance of God, we will not rest until the evil is completely destroyed."
