In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.
First Sergeant (res.) Avihai Amsalem, z"l, from Hadera, fell in battlee at the Negev gate, protecting the residents of the south. He is survived by his wife, Tal and children, Talia and Maor.
According to his friends and family, Avichai was a combination of a sharp mind and a sensitive heart. Avihai was an outstanding electrical engineering student at Rupin College and for the past two years he and his family served as a nursery school in the youth village "Talfiot" in Hadera, when they were the family framework for at-risk girls.
In his military service he served in the "Kfir" brigade and then fought to transfer to the commando unit in the reserves.
