In Loving Memory of the Innocent Souls Taken Too Soon. United in peace, their light shines on in the hearts left behind. October 7, 2023, a day of sorrow, but their memories guide us toward a hopeful tomorrow.
Corporal Avi Zidon, z"l, from Moshav Yaval, was an Israeli Police officer who feel in battle fighting off the terrorists that infiltrated Peri Gan.
One of his friends recounts the events of that day:
"Avi jumped first to the event at Peri Gan. He came from his home in Moshav Yaval and is a member of the Rashtrapati. They fought together there for many minutes and prevented an earlier infiltration of terrorists."
His obituaries included:
"Avi Zidon, my commander, a warrior of truth, hard to grasp and digest, a true warrior who nurtured and educated entire generations of policemen and policewomen who continue his legacy, his way and the love of the homeland that was in him. You are gone, but you left a lot behind!! Rest in peace and may God resurrect your blood Soon!! Amen!!”
